Publication Fees

The total cost of publishing one article is 9 PLN (about 2.5 dollars) The cost of registering one electronic object with Crossref (DOI assignment) is 5 PLN, and the cost of checking one electronic object in the plagiarism detection system is 4 PLN.

Synapsa does not charge any article processing charges (APCs) or submission fees. This means that the entire process of publication, including peer review, editing, and hosting, is free of charge for the authors. Our journal is currently funded by the founders' own resources. We are committed to the principle of open access and believe that the lack of financial barriers is essential for the free exchange of scientific knowledge, especially for early-career researchers.

Łączny koszt opublikowania jednego artykułu wynosi 9 zł. Koszt rejestracji jednego obiektu elektronicznego w Crossref (nadanie DOI) wynosi 5 zł, a koszt sprawdzenia jednego obiektu elektronicznego w systemie antyplagiatowym wynosi 4 zł.

Czasopismo Synapsa nie pobiera żadnych opłat za opracowanie artykułów (APC) ani opłat za zgłoszenie. Oznacza to, że cały proces publikacji, w tym recenzja, redakcja i hosting, jest bezpłatny dla autorów. Nasze czasopismo jest obecnie finansowane ze środków własnych. Jesteśmy oddane zasadom otwartego dostępu i wierzymy, że brak barier finansowych jest niezbędny dla swobodnej wymiany wiedzy naukowej, szczególnie dla początkujących badaczy.

Does the journal charge any other fees to authors?

Synapsa is a diamond open access journal. This means that we do not charge any article processing charges or submission fees to authors. The publication process is free for all contributors.

As there are no fees, the question of waivers or discounts is not applicable. We are committed to removing all financial barriers to publishing, ensuring an equitable and accessible platform for scholars worldwide, regardless of their funding situation or institutional affiliation.

Our operations are currently supported by the founders' own resources and voluntary work.
